
Fields of Interest
The center's fields of interest are as follows:
- Within the scope of automotive technologies; internal combustion engines, low and/or zero carbon emission vehicles, hybrid and alternative vehicle designs, sustainability, optimization, environmental factors, driver / passenger / vehicle safety and comfort, tire and vehicle dynamics, vehicle electronics, new generation and composite materials, image and sound processing, control and similar issues,
- To encourage interdisciplinary master's and doctoral studies in automotive subjects, to present the results of master's and doctoral thesis studies to the managers and professionals of the relevant sector,
- To develop communication infrastructure and create databases on the subjects that the Center works on,
- In accordance with the purpose of the Center, to conduct studies and researches on the use and application of automotive technology in industry and related enterprises, to provide support in issues such as technology development, technology transfer and solution of technical problems,
- Organizing meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences and courses to create and develop R&D culture,
- Organizing panels, interviews and competitions to raise awareness on automotive technologies,
- To provide guidance to researchers working on automotive-related issues at the university in terms of providing the resources and infrastructure they need,
- To cooperate with domestic and foreign research and education institutions on automotive related issues,
- To cooperate with the industry on automotive-related issues and to provide consultancy services to industrial enterprises and public institutions and organizations,
- To ensure the necessary coordination with the University units so that researchers working on automotive issues can benefit from the technical facilities available at the University,
- To produce joint projects and studies with relevant institutions and organizations on automotive issues,
- To present the scientific and technical findings obtained as a result of research and application studies on automotive research in reports, bulletins, books, journals and other media,
- Sharing examples of successful cooperation with the business world and the public,
- To ensure that the researchers of the center benefit from the laboratories of the relevant units within the University, the machinery, hardware, software and other existing infrastructure facilities in their laboratories, and to contribute to the development of the relevant units through joint studies,
- To carry out other activities in accordance with the objectives of the Center determined by the Board of Directors.
